  • Alvarado Hospital
    Client Concept:
To update the appearance of the company’s identity. Alvarado Hospital wanted a logo that would represent the company’s best interest and be inviting to incoming patrons and future patrons passing by the hospital.

    Design Concept:
To update the cross used in the old logo and bring it up to date. To show a strong concept of negative space the A and H were placed inside the cross, making the cross useful as a separate mark from the type.

  • Ding
    Client Concept :
Was to create a brochure for the San Diego State University library. The library wanted a brochure designed to educate incoming students about how to access materials in the library.

    Design Concept :
To create a fun inviting feeling that would spark an interest in the students desire to read. The idea of “Ding” is to represent the sound of the library’s main elevator, which is the heart of the library. Through the brochure, you are guide by a representation of the arrows used to show which direction the elevator is coming.

  • Bad Ass Hair
    Client Concept:
To create a product that would appeal to a hip-trendy crowd. Appealing to women between the ages of 18 to 25 who enjoy more punky feel to their hair style. Product was completely designed around the name ‘Bad Ass’. The clients idea for the product was to have a do-it-yourself feel to it.

    Design Concept:
Concept for logo was to represent a spray painted texture with the use of a stencil over spray look. Labeling was created with a brown paper bag texture, giving the allusion of the do-it-yourself feel to the outer packaging. Containers were designed as triangles to entice the consumers curiosity by taking a second look at the product.
